Dr Etienne Hugo holds a Doctor of Laws (LLD) degree from the University of Pretoria, South Africa (2000).He was awarded both his BLC and LLB degrees with distinction and has been an Advocate of the High Court of South Africa since 1996.
During his doctoral research he was a lecturer at the University of Pretoria and the Vista University, working in the Departments of Private Law. He also conducted research under scholarships at the Vrije Universiteit (Amsterdam) and Erasmus University (Rotterdam).
Etienne joined Parish Patience Immigration lawyers in 2001 and worked as a senior associate in the firm before he became the legal practitioner director of Teleo Group Pty Ltd. He is a registered migration agent and is admitted as a solicitor in New South Wales and the High Court of Australia. He is a Law Society of New South Wales accredited specialist in immigration law.
